Columbia University Graduation Day Photo Prints

On a bright morning in Morningside Heights, Brand Ambassadors descended on Columbia University’s Commencement with a mission: deliver pure, unexpected joy to the Class of 2026. Armed with branded photo printers, a towering illuminated “26” marquee sign, Columbia blue-and-navy balloon arches, and fun graduation props — inflatable lions, “Hire Me Please” signs, and “Proud Graduate” paddles — the team turned the streets outside campus into the most photographed block in Manhattan.

Graduates streaming out of the ceremony were invited to pose for a free, on-the-spot photo print, instantly branded with the iconic red Urban Outfitters × DoorDash border and a 30% off promo code. Reaction after reaction was pure delight — graduates held up their prints, showed parents and siblings, and many came back for a second shot.

Families posed together, couples grabbed lion inflatables, and groups of friends crowded around the marquee sign all afternoon. Many graduates were hearing about the Urban Outfitters × DoorDash partnership for the first time and expressed genuine excitement, with several scanning their promo code on the spot.

The activation created a magnetic draw on the sidewalk. Passersby who weren’t even Columbia graduates stopped to ask what was happening and walked away with prints of their own. The Brand Ambassador team’s energy was infectious, and the Columbia neighborhood responded with enthusiasm from start to finish.

SF State at Oracle Park Free Flower Bouquets

San Francisco delivered sunshine, Bay views, and one of the most heartwarming activations of the entire program. Brand Ambassadors positioned themselves outside Oracle Park — Home of the San Francisco Giants — where SF State University hosted commencement, greeting graduates with a gift they weren’t expecting: free, beautifully wrapped flower bouquets courtesy of Urban Outfitters on DoorDash.

Each bouquet was wrapped in custom red Urban Outfitters branded paper tied with a white ribbon — a gorgeous, photo-ready gift that graduates proudly carried through the crowds. The branded packaging made every bouquet a walking advertisement, turning the Oracle Park plaza and the iconic 3rd Street Bridge into a sea of red-wrapped flowers and purple caps and gowns.

The team spread out strategically across the main Oracle Park entrance, the Willie Mays statue plaza, and the 3rd Street Bridge — maximizing touchpoints throughout the entire arrival and departure flow. Graduates accepted bouquets with huge smiles, and many were genuinely moved by the surprise.

Many attendees were enthusiastic about the Urban Outfitters × DoorDash partnership and said they’d check out the app. The activation reached graduates representing the full diversity of the Bay Area — a beautifully fitting moment for one of the country’s most vibrant cities.

University of Miami + Wynwood Karaoke Video Truck

Miami saved the most electric activation for last. On a gorgeous South Florida afternoon, Brand Ambassadors rolled a full Karaoke Video Truck directly to the University of Miami campus and then into the vibrant Wynwood Arts District — bringing spontaneous, camera-ready joy to graduates and locals alike.

At UM, graduating students who moments earlier had received their diplomas found themselves in front of a mobile stage, microphone in hand, belting out their favorite songs to cheering crowds. The truck became an instant magnet — word spread fast and lines formed as graduates competed to claim the mic, with friends and families cheering from the sidewalk.

As the afternoon shifted to evening, the truck moved to Wynwood — Miami’s legendary street art destination — where the urban energy took the activation to another level. Artists, locals, and tourists joined the celebration alongside graduates still in their caps and gowns. Karaoke performances ranged from heartfelt ballads to full-on party anthems, with the crowd singing along and filming every moment.

Throughout both stops, Brand Ambassadors engaged attendees with information about the Urban Outfitters × DoorDash partnership. Many participants were discovering the collaboration for the first time and were enthusiastic. The Miami activation generated tremendous excitement and social content — a perfect, joyful close to a three-city tour that proved joy is always worth delivering.
