Event Overview
A sampling activation was conducted during a golf event attended by approximately 220 golfers. The Brand Ambassador distributed samples of Water Hazard and engaged attendees through product education and a raffle promotion featuring golf-themed prizes.

Customer Feedback and Observations
Attendees were already familiar with the Founders brand, particularly the IPA offering, which created immediate credibility and interest in trying Water Hazard. Once initial samplers shared positive feedback with others inside the clubhouse, additional golfers came outside specifically to try the product, creating noticeable momentum and buzz around the activation.
Multiple customers asked where they could purchase full-size cans locally and inquired about pricing at Total Wine. Several attendees also approached the onsite representative hoping to purchase remaining cases directly. Interest in retail availability at the clubhouse was strong.
Customers described the beverage as similar to a painkiller-style cocktail commonly enjoyed on golf courses. Feedback highlighted that the drink was not overly sweet and not too carbonated. Many attendees already preferred vodka-based beverages and responded positively to the ready-to-drink format featuring lemonade, lemon-lime soda notes, and blue sports drink flavor elements.
The raffle generated significant excitement, with strong participation and enthusiasm around the golf bag and club cover prizes.
Golfers also responded well to the sunscreen and golf-shaped lip balm giveaways, which aligned closely with the event environment and audience needs.
Many attendees asked about the brewery’s history and distribution network, indicating deeper brand curiosity beyond the sampling experience.
